Gimp Themes v1.0 for Windows
The Story
Ever since i started using Gimp 5 months ago i was annoyed by the fact we couldn't use the lovely themes available to linux based users.
then the other day i noticed how Gimphoto.com had gotten GTK which runs Linux themes for numerous Os's/applications including gimp, so i did a few google searches, and it turns out that its nothing new just not many know about it, Alexander Shaduri from gtk-win.sourceforge.net/ has compiled GTK and its Preference Tool to run under windows operating systems for a while now.
i then for my own use looked into how Gimpohoto did there's and then re-did my own using newer versions of GTK from gtk-win.sourceforge.net,it wasn't easy as i thought, it has a few files that need to be put in different locations in gimp's folder for it to work but thats the good news because i've created an installer package that installs all the files in the right place with a click of a button :)

Dude if you have linux and use the gtk theme to change :D
I use KDE and easy switch the GIMP interface :D

Now, being a noob, I was wondering if it's possible to get other themes to either work with or in conjunction to your wonderful installer. In other words, more themes. Hope you don't think me greedy, *small violins playing in the background* but after sitting naked for 32 hours straight in front of my monitor and eating only caramellos ( was that too much info) my eyes start to hurt *sob sob* and a headache ensues. Could you shed some light.........

way cool, new to gimping and
way cool, new to gimping and saw a different theme on someones tutorial and was impressed, so I googled gimp themes and this site pulled up and voila! That theme was in there and I love it. Thanks!
