this is a video on gimp the image manipulation program and i will show you how to edit images and much more in this video tutorial. This tutorial was made by diebeforeyoulive2
Hello My name is paul and i am the owner of this video you have taken this off my youtube page and cropped it to remove the water at the top to prove it go to youtube.com/diebeforeyoulive2 and yo will see it and i didnot even get a remark for this video that it was made by me !!!!
don't be so quick to accuse , first of all i did not crop anything all i did was use the Embed code provided by youtube on your page, its pretty normal for people to embed clips from youtube into sites or blogs with out mentioing the user who uploaded it, but its ok i don't mind giving credit where its dew, i put a link to the orignal youtube page. hope that make you all happy :)
I never used perspective while using gimp and with this video I was able to see just how perspective is supposed to be used so now I can have hopes of using it. :D
I know it can be annoying to see copies of your tutorials, uncredited, on other peoples blogs - especially when they are using AdSense to potentially generate an income off of something you did for free! - but it is widespread.
Remember though, it is a GIMP tutorial so consider the 'open-source' implications of others freely sharing your tutorial.
As someone that couldn't write even the smallest most insignificant part of a programme like the GIMP I put out my tutorials, for free on YouTube as well, to give something back to the community (I know that sounds cheesey!)
You should be credited of course - but not everybody adheres to the self-regulating and honest ethos of open-source/creative commons. You could consider adding an ident before or after your tutorial, which clearly points viewers back to your other youtube vids.
On a more personal note, Paul, I've been watching your tutorials on YouTube and have been impressed with how clear and easy to follow you are. Don't be put off by things like this as there are few people making quality *spoken* tutorials - keep up the good work!
